The Pension Fund continues to broaden e-services for information and public service purposes, which will make a visit to PFR optional.

All PFR e-services are available on a single portal on the Pension Fund website, at For your convenience the portal is structured not only by the type of service (pensions, social allowances, maternity capital, etc) but also by the type of access – with or without registration. In order to access services requiring personal data one needs a registered account on the unified public services portal.

Since 2015, the insured person’s account facility provided such important services as information about formed pension rights, the assignment of pension, a new method of its delivery, etc. On the whole, almost 4 million applications were filed via services of the insured person’s account facility. More than 100,000 persons applied for the assignment of pensions, and another 102,000 requested a new method of pension delivery. In 80% of cases, citizens who applied for the assignment of pensions – the key public service provided by PFR – did not have to visit PFR or submit additional personal-storage documents.

New electronic services have become accessible to citizens. A key service for pensioners is information about the type and size of their pension and social benefits (such as monthly benefits, package of social services, monthly and compensatory payments for caring for persons with disabilities, etc).

Maternity capital certificate holders can use information about the size (or the balance) of maternity capital funds. Besides, it is now possible to apply for the issue of the maternity capital certificate or for using its funds online.

A new service for benefit holders enables them to apply for a monthly social benefit. As a rule, a monthly social benefit is assigned simultaneously with the pension. This service is especially useful for persons with disabilities, who apply to PFR for the assignment of pension. They simultaneously acquire the status of a federal benefit holder and have their monthly social benefit assigned.

Services make it possible to file an application with PFR, to make an appointment and to order the issue of a number of documents.

Hence, the new services are oriented at main target groups: pensioners, social benefit holders, maternity capital holders and working citizens who can receive information about their pension rights.

In addition, the well-known Pension Calculator has a new function. It can now be used by self-employed citizens (sole proprietors, notaries, lawyers, etc). In order to calculate their insurance pension, they should enter the planned duration of their self-employed career and the annual income in current prices.
